“Your brand is what people say about you when you’re not in the room.”
– Jeff Bezos
While this quote is simple, it leads us to ask, what are the Eggheads? What do we want people to say about our brand? To properly explain that, let’s rewind a little…
10 years ago, when we started Digital Eggheads, our focus was entirely on becoming an ROI-based digital agency. Back then, as a start-up, we were trying to settle ourselves in a fast-growing digital era.
This was back in 2014 when conceptualization was a very big deal. But then Digital Eggheads grew & our vision was refined. We rebranded to a trendy, sleeker, and more elegant identity.
This led to our iconic logo, i.e. our identity for almost a decade now. If we think about the last 7–8 years, this look was perhaps a need in all the time we’ve spent building and rebuilding 2our team, figuring out our deeper goals, and forming new objectives. It spoke of a creative, mature, yet still young team that’s constantly learning.
Over the past decade, we’ve grown from that small, scrappy group into a well-organized force, within our team as well as business-wise internationally in the USA, Canada, and UK. We’ve learned a lot along the way, and our experiences have shaped us into who we are today.
As trends evolved, so did our understanding of what being an Egghead actually means to us, and what we want it to represent.
Now, as we reach our 10-year mark, it’s become clearer that to stay relevant and impactful, we must rebrand our identity to better fit our evolved values. It isn’t just a superficial makeover; rather it’s thoughtfully designed, inside out, to align with the needs and expectations of our team, clients, and audiences.
So, reading back to the quote above, what we want our brand to represent, and what we want people to say about us, isn’t just focused on us as a small unit anymore.
It’s more of an official announcement that we are no longer in the startup and settling mode; we have now entered the phase of further refining and perfecting the art of digital engagement. And our brand will represent that vision now more than ever.
The Idea
When we first conceptualized Digital Eggheads, our vision was clear, but the journey was overcome with challenges. The biggest challenge was transforming the very idea that brought us together into a brand that resonates deeply with today’s audience. We knew that to make a significant impact, we needed a fresh perspective and a bold new approach.
We’ve observed the growing need for plans and strategies that are more consumer-oriented and experience-focused. This brought us to plan out a makeover that’s visually aligned with our minimal approach and aligns with the growing demands of today’s audiences.
The Color Palette
Previously, our brand was represented by a limited color palette of orange, gray, and white. While these colors served us well, recently, this limit felt like a monotony being repeated in a lot of our designs and patterns. We felt it was time to add a new dimension to our visual identity.
Therefore, we went toward something more vibrant to our existing palette that could better convey the growth we want to display. This brought us to purple: a color that represents creativity and thoughtfulness.
Orange symbolizes our energy and enthusiasm, being deeply associated with the Eggheads in our team, while purple introduces a layer of depth and innovation. This new combination is more than just a visual change; it represents the merging of our dynamic past with our visionary future.

These elements are not just buzzwords; they are the pillars upon which we are building the future of the Eggheads.
Evolving with the Trends
The digital world is constantly evolving, and so are the trends that shape it. We understand that usability across multiple platforms is becoming increasingly complex. Our rebranding addresses this by making our identity bolder and more attractive, ensuring that we stand out in a crowded digital space.
Moving Forward…
This rebrand is more than a new look; it’s a new mindset and a new narrative. It’s a testament to our growth and our unwavering commitment to our customers. As we move forward, we are excited to continue providing exceptional digital solutions that are innovative, customer-centric, and experience-focused.
